Valentine Weekend Getaway

 Safari Itinerary:
Day 1
Depart Nairobi for Shaba at seven in the morning. Upon arrival in the park, you will enjoy a game drive enroute to the lodge. Check in at the lodge, followed by a buffet lunch at the restaurant.
After lunch, you have the early afternoon free, to enjoy the amenities of the lodge which include a swimming pool before going for an afternoon game drive, from 1530hrs. After the game drive, return to the lodge to freshen up for a candlelit bush dinner

The starkly beautiful landscape of the reserve is dominated by Shaba hill to the south, at the foot of which is a rugged area with steep ravines, whose sandy soils are volcanic. This part of Kenya is known for the unique five animal species:; the reticulated giraffe, the Beisa Oryx, the long necked Gerenuk,the blue shanked Somali Ostrich and the grevy Zebra.

Overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge

Day 2
Start with an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast at the riverside then spend the better part of the morning at leisure. Check out at noon then start the journey back to Nairobi with enroute game drive on your way out of the park. You will stop for lunch (at own cost) at the famous “Trout tree Restaurant” in Nanyuki where you fish your own lunch. At 3pm embark on the journey back to Nairobi.
